Vanessa M. Lee, ABCDT, CPCT

As the owner and operator of Ruff Relations, Vanessa Lee has over five years of dog training experience. She is a certified dog trainer, a CGC evaluator, a full member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT), a certified pet care technician, and has attended a Pet Saver Program where she was trained in pet first aid & CPR. She gained most of her experience assisting classes with area dog trainers for nearly 3 years and later teaching group classes at several local pet facilities. Her mentors include Marcia Ritchie of the Family Companion, Kim Sauer of Sit N' Stay Pet Services, and Jeannine Jay of the Canine Sports Complex.

Vanessa has taken courses through the Companion Animal Sciences Institute and continues to expand her knowledge of dog care & training by networking with other pet professionals and through seminars, books, and continuing education courses. She has been through a variety of dog training classes and remains active in agility with her own dogs, Sookie and Natalie. Natalie is a Canine Good Citizen and was previously a Therapy Dog, registered with Therapy Dogs International (TDI).

Holly Coggins, ABCDT

Holly recently graduated from Animal Behavior College and is now a certified dog trainer.

She has been assisting Vanessa's obedience classes and also helps monitor the dogs at daycare and at Saturday playgroups in her free time to increase her understanding of dog behavior and body language. Holly looks forward to teaching group classes at Ruff Relations.

Christy Riehle, Assistant Trainer

Christy has been involved in dog training since she brought home her first Weimaraner puppy in 2007. She has attended a variety of training classes throughout the years, including obedience, agility, tracking and flyball. She enjoys agility training with her two Weimaraners, Siena and Roman, and is also a member of the Buffalo Wings Flyball Team. Christy is very passionate about dog training, and assists with Vanessa's classes whenever possible.
